With a 15.6 inch display, the laptop compared to other laptops within this budget is more vibrant and shiny. It comes with decent viewing angles that might lag a bit with washed colors. Despite being a satisfactory option for movie time or even slight gaming, Acer E15 suits best for work purposes. The 12-hour battery life allows a troublefree day at school and work. This proves to be good news for those who have to spend a more significant part of their day in front of the laptops.

It houses the 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U that runs at 3.4GHz. Enjoy HD action is possible with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 and 2GB of discrete video making, making you live each of the moment. This might be comforting to a few of you only!

Acer makes the longer typing sessions less arduous with a comfortable keyboard that sits atop the metallic textured deck. The keys are soft but not very soft that they may come loose with a little pressure. It is a responsive keyboard that makes typing easy and less stressful. The trackpad is massive, but in terms of functionality, it fails to impress the users. It is not as strong as the overall built of Acer E15. It gives the feeling of coming off in case of more pressure on it.

Acer E15 sports a decent audio system which although is not great can fare well among the rest of the laptops at $500. There is a decent speaker set. However, the sound is not loud enough, even at higher volumes. The network connectivity too of the laptop is satisfactory. The wireless card of Acer E15 connects well with both 2.4 and 5GHz wireless networks. It has higher download speeds to smooth out the work discrepancies in no time at all.

This allows smooth functioning of all mainstream tasks without any speed breaks. The enormous space makes for the swift functionality of the laptop.

The RAM is upgraded to 4GB of memory, making multitasking effortless. You can access multiple applications and browser tabs at once with no stumbling blocks which can make a simple task stretch on for hours.

The keyboard is well-spaced with keys of significant size to make typing comfortable and relaxed. It is a depiction of all traditional Lenovo keyboards but with not much spacing between the keys. The touchpad is quite large. It is responsive with gesturing always hitting the mark. The touch screen of the laptop is accurate. The dragging and dropping work apace with no irritating break-offs. Pinch to zoom too is precise.

The battery runs for an impressive 12 hours depending on the use and the load put on the device. For simple tasks, you can enjoy the whole 12 hours of uninterrupted use, but in case of gaming and videos, the timing may reduce down to a good 10 hours, which isn’t that bad.  The single fan placed inside is not very noisy. The HP Business is a well-equipped laptop encased in a black casing that makes it stand out, giving it a touch of sophistication and a modern look. Upon opening the top cover, you will see a display surrounded by black plastic and a slightly wobbly base. It is a bit bulky, but functionality wise you will be able to leverage the operating system windows 10 to achieve your intended goals at the end of the day.

This HP model has a 15.6 inches touch screen with 1366×768 resolution and IPS display. Bearing an excellent screen quality, the laptop produces crisp and vibrant images with optimum results achieved with the backlight on. The matte screen reduces glare that affects visibility making professional multimedia works and watching movies an endearing experience.

Above the display of the laptop, there is an HD webcam. It isn’t exactly a very exciting one since the picture quality is a bit grainy. Despite lacking the IR sensors, the webcam is pretty decent. The noise level of the fan is not as bad as in the rest of the low budget laptops. There is no loud whining or annoying sounds that you must be cautious of in office environments.

The keyboard used in the laptop is exceptionally comfortable with a backlight that you can always turn off. The keys are sturdy and feel soft. You don’t have to strike them hard or put in the extra effort. An entirely clickable surface comes below the keyboard with no built-in fingerprint reader. The trackpad doesn’t have marked left and right-click button and lacks the dragging in and out precision.

The laptop has an AMD Quad-core A12-9720p processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 10 operating mode, and AMD Radeon R7 graphics. The 8GB might sound a bit tight, but there is an option to upgrade. This makes the laptop a capable system for browsing the internet, watching videos and movies, and other simpler office and school tasks.

The battery life, although depending upon the use, is laudable. With one time charging you get up to 5 hours of uninterrupted usage. There are two USB 2.0 ports and 3.1 ports, a full-size Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI port that ensure maximum connectivity options. The lightweight of the laptop makes it an extremely portable option for those who frequently travel for business meetings.  The range of apps allows you to access them while you travel without any fear of losing data.

A spacious and comfy touchpad is placed beneath the keyboard. It offers accurate cursor movement and precise motions for pinching to zoom in and out. The overall design of the base is sturdy to withstand the ruggedness and stay in shape for long.

The touch screen is plastered with the protective corning gorilla glass covering, which is six times stronger than the ordinary glass. The IPS display present bold colors that do not lose their glow and vibrancy from any viewing angle. However, the glossy surface of the screen can hinder visibility outdoors. Therefore, it is best to use in a shady place or indoors. The 1366 x 768 resolution might disappoint you a bit since you have to contend with HD video content at 720p. The brightness and contrast need tweaking up a little.

The ports are generously placed on the sides of the laptop to boost up connectivity. An Intel dual-core i5-7200u processor powers the laptop that makes the daily work smooth and effortless. It has a mid-range clock of 2.5GHz that raises to 3.1GHz. The Intel HD graphics are decent for normal tasks but not heavy games, so the prospect of heavy games is out of the question.

This Dell laptop model has a faster running time than the other ones running at 5400 RPM. Transferring and retrieving of documents, songs, movies are made quick and swift. At the top of the display is a 720p webcam and the lower bezel houses the windows hotkey.

The keyboard of the laptop offers a comfortable typing experience. The island-style keyboard has tactile keys that are responsive, requiring no effort while pressing. The 1mm of shallow key travel is not ideal, in spite of that the overall performance of the keys is satisfactory. The individual keys are generously spaced and are springy. The two-degree tilt to the keyboard facilitates typing. The touchpad below is spacious and responsive to all gestures.

There is an HD camera at the top of the bezel allowing for exciting talking time with friends and family. The fingerprint sensor on the touchpad eliminates the need for typing the password every time you wish to use the laptop. It also enables greater security and maintains your privacy. Dropping the laptop would be less hurting since the one-year accidental damage protection protects your device against all the spills and drops.

The laptop has an AMD Quad-core RS-3500U processor and 8GB of RAM to make daily tasks a breeze. Loading 20 tabs in one go will be swift with no hurdles and buffing, and you can simultaneously load 3 videos without any freezing. Laptop with big screens are trending in the tech world. Many companies have recently introduced such notebooks, laptops, and 2 in 1 device that made an impact in the market while winning the hearts of many customers.

Because laptops with large screen size are the latest buzz, we would like to introduce HP 15.6-inch Touch Screen Laptop. HP is a market leader and has not stayed back. It brought the HP Pavilion 15.6 HD Touchscreen that comes along with an intel core processor, 1 TB of hard drive coupled with 8GB RAM. These features help in completing daily tasks.

Although the laptop is one of HP’s prized products but still it lacks the fancy list of specs that you can find out on most of the laptops these days. Still, the laptop runs on Windows 10 and features a sleek look. The core strength of HP Pavilion comes from a lethal comb of 7th generation Intel Core i3-7100U processor with 8 GB RAM.

With these specs in hand, even the most demanding tasks end in a short time. You can play basic games and also run high-end professional apps on this laptop. The main highlight of this laptop is versatility. As mentioned previously, you can enjoy entry-level games, but if your primary purpose is to buy a gaming laptop, then this is definitely not the one you should buy.

With modern times, you need to have a laptop that can keep up with the demands of multitasking and the HP Pavilion has 8 GB system memory, which is probably sufficient for most of the tasks that you’ll go through during your work hours.

If we solely talk about looks, then HP Pavilion is probably not the most aesthetic choice. At the time of this laptop’s launch, there were already better-looking laptops in the market, and even after its launch, smarter looking laptops kept coming in.

But if there is one thing which makes the laptop stand out, then it’s the black color that gives it an overall edge. The color highlights the system’s modest design, which makes it the perfect blend of beauty and simplicity. HP Pavilion isn’t the lightest system out there. The Lenovo 15.6″ has a modest but sleek design. Its gray plastic cover is vast and empty, aside from a slick, silver Lenovo logo in the left-hand corner.

The internal, brushed-aluminum chassis has an excellent paint job that goes together by a dark-tone keyboard. If Lenovo’s keyboard is anything like other keyboards, it should be comfortable to type on at the very least. The webcam is on the top bezel is a great addition, but the bezels themselves are a bit meaty.

At around 4.9 pounds and about 14.9 x 10.2 x 0.9 inches, this laptop is relatively slim, particularly compared to other laptops in the price range.

The laptop has a substantial number of ports. The entire left side features the primary power jack, an HDMI port, an RJ45 port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, a headphone jack, and a 4-in-1 card reader (SDHC, SD, MMC, SDXC). And that’s not all; the right side gives a security lock slot along with a DVD drive.

When it comes to getting things done, Lenovo laptop is undoubtedly garnering a lot of love with its AMD Quad Core A12-9720P processor. Lenovo comes with 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 SDRAM coupled with 1TB SSD Boot Driver and 2TB HDD. With specs like these, you can win a virtual war with this mean machine!

The Lenovo’s also come with one silver lining, that it stays cool. After the laptop streamed a 1080p video for 15 minutes, the underside of the laptop hit around 83 degrees, which is excellent considering the among of processing the laptop must be going. The touchpad and the center of the keyboard measured at 74 and 79 degrees, respectively.

Now it comes down to battery life while testing the laptop we came to know that on an average you can use this laptop for 4.5 hours. That’s the max it’ll go, and this is disappointing because there are laptops which can go up to 8 hours of screen time.

But, unfortunately, Lenovo, doesn’t go that long. If you travel a lot and work while moving from one place to the other, then you should consider another laptop with a long battery backup.

Pros
  • Lots of Ports
  • Comfortable Keyboard
  • SuperMulti DVD burner
  • High-end Specs
Cons
  • Dim
  • Short Battery Life
  • Low-Display
